Information Collection and Use

Ironic Design, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected through the fanmail.com system. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. From time to time email content may be captured at random for use in developing and evaluating improvements in the junk email detection engine. No attempt is made to use any personally identifiable information in this process.

Customers who use the Email Security Training (EST) service receive emails designed to simulate actual phishing and scam techniques. Since scammers gather information about organizations from their websites or other public sites, AnteSpam gathers point of contact (POC) information from those same public sources. This includes the domain owner name and information about officers and managers such as President/CEO and Administrative and Technical managers including each of those people's titles, email addresses, and phone numbers. This information is then put into some of the training emails pretending to come from one of these people - just as many scammers do - so EST's customers better understand how scammers fool those who receive their emails. This information can be altered or deleted when requested by the customer or within 30 days of permanently cancelling EST. Contact your AnteSpam reseller or AnteSpam's support staff if you need assistance altering or deleting this information.
